TRANSPORTATION
The Castello Visconteo lies in a key position halfway between Milan and Bergamo. It’s handily and easily reachable:
BY CAR
If you arrive by car from Milan through the A4 motorway take the Trezzo d’Adda exit and then continue for about 10 km until reaching Cassano d’Adda. If you arrive from the Linate airport it’s advisable to drive along the A35 (BreBeMi) motorway towards Brescia and take the Treviglio exit, just 5 minutes away from the Castle. If you arrive from Crema, Cremona or Lodi you can follow the Rivoltana road and follow directions for Cassano d’Adda.
BY TRAIN
The Castello Visconteo is 7 km away from the Treviglio Centrale railway station, served by regional trains of the Milan-Venice lines and by the Bergamo and Cremona lines, and 9 km away from the Treviglio Ovest railway station, served by regional Trenitalia trains of the Treviglio – Bergamo line. From the station it is possible to reach the Castle by taxi or private transfer that can be booked through our hotel reception. A bus service connects the village of Cassano d’Adda with the green line metro station of Gessate.
BY PLANE
The Castello Visconteo is located 30 km away from the Linate Airport, 30 km away from the Orio al Serio Airport and 80 km away from the Malpensa Airport. From the airports you can reach the Castle using a taxi or booking a private transfer through our hotel reception.
